Rolls-Royce plc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Aeromechanics Engineer to support LibertyWorks across turbomachinery subsystems. You will evaluate fluid-structure interactions and airfoil vibration using computational and experimental methods for design, certification, optimization, and investigations.

The role requires a degree in engineering with aeromechanics focus and experience, with US citizenship/clearance eligibility, and offers relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years aeromechanical experience or a Masters/PhD with related focus.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance is required.

Responsabilités

• Run aeromechanics analyses using in-house CFD to evaluate forced response, flutter, and aeroelastic phenomena.
• Evaluate mistuning and nonlinear dynamics; interpret test data for vibration analysis.
• Collaborate with aero designers, stress analysts, and test engineers on engine designs and vibration investigations.
• Develop certification strategies with subject matter experts and communicate results via reports and presentations.
