Job summary

Aero Alliance in Houston, TX is seeking a Turbine Technician to perform assembly, disassembly, and inspection of Aero Derivative gas turbine engines and modules in accordance with technical specs and standard work practices. You will handle routing, inspections, documentation, and troubleshooting, working individually and in teams to support continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality.

This on-site role requires an A&P license or 3 years’ aero-derivative experience, a HS diploma,

Qualifications

Must have A&P license or minimum 3 years’ experience in Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine or Aircraft Engine Services
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Able to read and interpret service repair manuals and technical publications to determine work procedures
Basic computer skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities

Responsibilities

Perform routing of engine hardware, assemblies, and material in support of assigned area
Conduct comprehensive inspections of gas turbine engines, components and hardware for serviceability
Record discrepancies using service manuals as reference
Maintain documentation of turbine assembly, disassembly, or repairs per QMS
Troubleshoot in-process problems and component failures
Use precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools, shop equipment
Uphold safety requirements and maintain a clean workspace
Support continuous improvement projects individually and in teams
