Job summary

Leidos FS2 Aero team in St. Louis, MO seeks a junior software developer to design and code software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office.

The role builds on a foundation in software development concepts, using a variety of tools and a strong ambition for future projects in support of the mission. You will work with AWS services, C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, OpenShift, Docker, React, PostgresSQL, GraphQL, and Prisma; participate in Agile processes and DevOps with Gitlab,

Qualifications

BS degree or higher with 2+ years of relevant experience, or MS with <2 years of experience, or 4+ years of related experience.
Experience with REACT or modern JavaScript framework.
Experience with Python, C# development framework.
Experience with unit testing, CI tools, and Gitlab version control.
Proactive self-starter with strong communication skills.
Experience in software development or integration projects in cloud/virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

Understand core AWS services and deploy core services (Lambda, EC2).
Develop with C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python; work with OpenShift, Docker, React, PostgresSQL, GraphQL, Prisma.
Create and document new/existing functionality in gitlab and apply DevOps practices within Agile workflows.
