Lifted (an Upwork Company) is seeking CFD and Aerodynamics Engineers to design compact, self-contained tasks that validate AI models’ engineering reasoning. You will craft precise problem statements on boundary conditions, mesh quality, and flow physics, and build deterministic scoring checkers with verified solutions.

This is a fully remote, contractor role with flexible hours. Ideal candidates hold a related engineering degree and hands-on OpenFOAM CFD experience, strong fluid mechanics

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience using OpenFOAM for CFD simulations.
• Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary conditions, post-processing.
• Ability to write clear, precise, and verifiable engineering problems.
• Excellent written English communication; able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Design compact, self-contained CFD and aerodynamics tasks to evaluate AI models' engineering reasoning.
• Create clear, technically accurate problem statements covering boundary conditions, mesh quality, flow regimes, and setup.
• Develop deterministic scoring checkers to objectively evaluate AI-generated responses.
• Produce verified reference solutions to ensure tasks are solvable and accurate.
• Refine tasks to improve clarity, physical accuracy, and difficulty.
• Apply real-world OpenFOAM experience to develop practical engineering scenarios.
• Work fully remote, asynchronous with flexible scheduling.
