YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" person in developing and implementing the store's Merchandising strategy. You are passionate about training and coaching your team to become excellent merchants who consistently meet AEO brand visual standards. Your leadership ensures that floorset execution, merchandising, and marketing standards are always maintained. You also ensure the store is "guest ready" through effective replenishment, embodying our company values and bringing your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional service, analyze reporting and trends to inform strategic decisions, and assist in developing business plans to meet KPIs.
  2. Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensure the store reflects AEO Brand Standards, manage daily merchandising and replenishment, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  3. People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and hold your team accountable to customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  4. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting, hiring, training, and developing your team to maintain high service standards.
  5. Teamwork and engagement: You provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and celebrate team successes to foster engagement.
  6. Operational excellence: You support daily operations, maintain visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  7. Integrity: You uphold store safety, asset protection, adhere to policies, and always do what is right.
