YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always meets their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence! YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through an exceptional guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and help develop short and long-term plans to achieve key KPIs.
- Lead people: Motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values. Be a role model in customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room, and hold your team accountable.
- Talent development: Recruit, hire, and train strong talent to meet business needs. Develop your team to ensure they provide outstanding service and continue to grow professionally.
- Promote teamwork: Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews. Celebrate successes to boost engagement.
- Operational innovation: Execute and improve daily operations, support visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Uphold integrity: Maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow company policies, and always do the right thing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Leadership and team development abilities, with understanding of employment law
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to meet guest shopping hours
