Job summary

Midco is seeking a Construction Technician to support the Construction department in maintaining, expanding, and upgrading its regional network. You will interpret network maps, capture design data, and perform installations and repairs on aerial and underground networks, with progression from Construction Technician to III based on experience and certifications.

The role requires interpreting maps, installing drops, splices, and power supplies, and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and meet DOT requirements.
• Complete Construction First Time Right (FTR) certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications for bucket truck operation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Interpret network maps and design documentation.
• Capture, store, and modify design data using GPS, smartphones and laptops.
• Install, maintain and repair Midco's aerial and underground regional network.
