Job summary

Liberty Latin America is seeking an Aerial Restoration Construction Technician in Puerto Rico to lead repair and field construction of HFC and fiber networks across Liberty PR. You will perform aerial construction on poles, install cables and hardware, and support OSP teams with restoration work.

The role requires physical work outdoors, climbing and operating bucket trucks, with a focus on safety and adherence to standards; valid PR driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs may be

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; 1–2 years in telecom or related field preferred.
• Experience on ladders, poles or bucket trucks is preferred.
• Ability to read basic construction prints and field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial telecommunications construction on poles and infrastructure.
• Install and replace strand, coaxial, fiber cables and related hardware.
• Perform cable lashing and de-lashing activities.
• Install, replace, and adjust pole attachments, clamps, and anchors.
• Operate bucket trucks and other approved tools and equipment.
• Maintain traffic and work-zone controls and safety practices.
• Document completed work and materials used; ensure compliance with standards.
