Job summary

Liberty Puerto Rico is seeking an Aerial Restoration Construction Technician to lead repair and restoration of HFC and Fiber outside plant networks, performing field construction for installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure across the Liberty Puerto Rico network.

You will work on poles and aerial infrastructure, installing strand, cables, and hardware, and supporting restoration teams with bucket trucks, ladders, and hand tools while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of telecom/construction experience.
• Experience with ladders, poles, or bucket trucks preferred.
• Ability to read construction prints, maps, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Performs aerial telecommunications construction on poles and aerial infrastructure.
• Installs and replaces strand, coaxial and fiber cables and hardware.
• Performs cable lashing and de-lashing activities.
• Installs, replaces, and adjusts pole attachments, clamps, brackets, anchors, and guys.
• Operates bucket trucks, ladders, and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintains traffic and work-zone controls and documents completed work.
