Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC. in Marion, IA is seeking a full-time Aerial Supervisor to lead field crews, ensure safety, and maintain efficient operations across telecommunication projects.

The role focuses on organizing materials, coordinating labor, and delivering high-quality aerial work on schedule. You will partner with customers, manage reporting, perform as-builts, track make-ready progress, and support underground work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license.
• Pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber.
• Strong aerial utility crew leadership experience.
• Experience with telecommunication MSA contracts preferred.
• Good computer skills, including Excel and Google applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness for out-of-town travel and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Field Supervisors, foremen and crew members.
• Organize materials, equipment, and labor to complete projects on time.
• Perform quality control verification of aerial projects.
• Assist with underground projects as needed.
• Verify locates, materials and billings.
• Work directly with customers on issues/needs and provide required reports.
• Complete as-builts and redlines.
• Track make-ready progress and forecast crew needs.
• Track permit submissions to pole owners.
• Schedule crews for aerial routes.
• Review O-Calc reports performed by others.
• Participate in safety, maintenance, production and personnel initiatives.
• Assist with hiring, training and evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned.
