Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Sedalia, MO is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our aeromedical team, transporting patients to and from facilities and on-scene calls. The role emphasizes safety, high-quality patient care, and team collaboration with experienced air transport professionals.

Starting pay is $21.32 per hour with DOE plus a $3.00 hourly area stipend. Applicants must have an EMT-P license and FP-C within 24 months, plus required clinical certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in 911 or critical care settings.
• Current EMT-P license/certification for states served.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/trauma certs required prior to flight status.
• FP-C required within 24 months of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in Education Manual.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies for EMS flights.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre/post mission briefings.
• Assist in liftoff checklist and pilot support when needed.
