Job summary

Future, a Primoris Company, is seeking an experienced Aerial Lineman to install, repair, and maintain overhead power lines across our telecom and utility projects. You will work from heights on poles and lifts, following strict safety protocols.

The role requires CDL Class A, 3-5 years of experience, blueprints reading, and strong teamwork. We offer competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience as an Aerial Lineman.
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical theory, safety practices, and utility construction standards.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, climbing poles, and performing strenuous manual labor.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain overhead electrical power lines, poles, transformers, and other related equipment.
  • Perform work from heights on utility poles, aerial lifts, and other elevated structures, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • String and sag wire, install crossarms, insulators, and other line hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Work with various types of conductors, including copper, aluminum, and fiber optic cables.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other utility vehicles.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Participate in emergency call-out rotations and respond to power outages as needed.
  • Mentor and train less experienced crew members.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and the public.
