Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is recruiting an Aerial Lineman to build, maintain, and repair overhead power lines and telecom systems. The role involves work at heights, operating bucket trucks and other heavy equipment, and delivering safe and reliable services.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL Class A, and experience in utilities or telecom. OSHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Aerial Lineman preferred in utilities/telecom.
• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Strong safety consciousness and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead electrical and telecommunication lines and equipment.
• Work with conductors, transformers, insulators, and line materials.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other heavy equipment safely.
• Climb poles and work at heights to access infrastructure.
• Read blueprints and work orders; troubleshoot issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in emergency calls and storm restoration as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors, and customers.
