Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. seeks an experienced utility lineworker to perform aerial and ground telecommunications work at construction sites. The role involves operating boom trucks, climbing poles, and installing poles and cables while following safety and project specs.

You will lead a crew to meet OSHA and company safety requirements, troubleshoot overhead fiber lines, read engineering plans, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years’ experience in the utility/construction industry.
• Driver’s license is required, with clean driving record.
• Valid CDL is strongly desired.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be willing travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate a boom truck and climb poles as needed.
• Lead and motivate crew to meet safety requirements, project specs and daily goals.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber lines.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Install poles and place wires and cables.
