PUSH, Inc., a premier communications and power utility contractor, is seeking an Aerial Lineman in Wisconsin to build and maintain aerial and underground telecom services. You will work outdoors, travel for outages, and operate heavy equipment such as digger and bucket truck, while adhering to OSHA and safety standards.

Requirements include at least two years of aerial groundman experience (preferred), Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred), and willingness to learn.

TheAerial Lineman builds and maintains aerial telephone systems which can consist of aerial and underground facilities.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

• Ability to work outdoors and to work in all types of outdoor weather.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
• Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.

• Ability to be available for emergency outages.
• Ability to travel away from home when needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Planning and initiating projects.

Education and/or Experience:

• Work Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience as an Aerial Groundman, preferred.
• Industry Knowledge:Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and work methods associated with aerial line work.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Demonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance, be familiar with the aerial safety codes and practices, and work methods associated with aerial line work.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain required equipment and tools.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
