Job summary

PUSH, Inc is hiring an Aerial Lineman (Local Work) to build and maintain aerial and underground telecom systems. You will work in outdoor environments, travel as needed, and support customers, utility owners, and officials with safe, compliant installations.

The role requires a minimum of two years as Aerial Groundman, a solid understanding of safety standards, a valid license, and willingness to learn. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

Aerial Lineman (Local Work)

TheAerial Lineman builds and maintains aerial telephone systems which can consist of aerial and underground facilities.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

• Ability to work outdoors and to work in all types of outdoor weather.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
• Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Education and/or Experience:

• Work Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience as an Aerial Groundman, preferred.
• Industry Knowledge:Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and work methods associated with aerial line work.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Demonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance, be familiar with the aerial safety codes and practices, and work methods associated with aerial line work.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain required equipment and tools.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
