Job summary

Utilities One in Spokane, WA is hiring an Aerial Lineman on a contract basis to support the Washington market. You will install aerial and underground telecom cabling, including fiber optics, and perform pole work across multiple sites.

The role requires frequent travel, ability to lift ~50 lbs, operate lifts and trucks, and maintain detailed records. CDL is preferred and all standard PPE and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Experience with cable placement and telecommunication cabling.
• Ability to travel between job sites very frequently.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial and underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics.
• Undertake pole removal and pole transfers, and set and install new aerial cables.
• Safely operate equipment and machinery.
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks.
• Keep a detailed record of work activity.
• Travel to different job sites within the market.
