Job summary

Utilities One in the Washington market is seeking an experienced Aerial Lineman to join our Operations team in Vancouver, WA. This contract role emphasizes aerial construction and maintenance of telecommunications cabling, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliable field execution.

You will install aerial and underground cabling, operate lifts and trucks, travel between job sites, and maintain detailed records. A CDL is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Cable placement experience required.
• Ability to travel very frequently to different job sites.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial & underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics.
• Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables.
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery.
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks.
• Keep a detailed record of work activity.
• Travel to different job sites within the market.
