Job summary

Transmission & Distribution World is seeking Aerial Linemen for contract work in the Spokane, WA area. The role focuses on aerial and underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics, with frequent site travel and hands-on operation of specialized equipment.

The position requires experience in cable placement, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in all weather. CDL is preferred and the company provides tools, a vehicle, and support for professional growth.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted Driver's License.
• Previous Cable Placement experience.
• Ability to travel to different job sites very frequently.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial & underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics;
• Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables;
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery;
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks;
• Keep a detailed record of work activity;
• Travel to different job sites within the market.
