As an Aerial Lineman, you will install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits; install aerial and buried cables with associated hardware; and run fiber optic, copper cable, and Coax, both aerial and underground. You will ensure crew safety, participate in safety meetings, manage inventory, operate heavy machinery, and perform routine maintenance.
This role may require work on weekends, holidays, standby, and overtime, with travel over 75% possibly necessary.
Minimum 1 year of outside plant construction experience or equivalent training. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, meet safety harness standards, and possess a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license, ability to travel over 75%, and experience with installation and maintenance of poles and cables are required. Pole climbing certification is preferred.
Salary range: $22 - $32/hour depending on location, skills, and experience. Eligible for performance incentives.
