Job summary

Penn Line Service is seeking a Bucket Operator to assist with tree clearing along electrical power lines and right-of-ways. You will operate a bucket truck to reach branches near lines and may climb trees with climbing gear; experience in line clearance is required.

A CDL/driver license is preferred, and pesticide licensing is beneficial but not mandatory. Expect a work schedule of 4-10 hour days with overtime and mandatory emergency storm duty.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket or running a bucket in line clearance settings.
• CDL license/valid driver license is preferred.
• Pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Clear and remove trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
• Operate an aerial lift (bucket truck) to reach branches near lines.
• May climb trees using climbing equipment and operate saws and chippers.
