Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Jackson, MS is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer with CDL preferred. This full-time role requires 2–3 years in aerial lift trimming, a valid driver's license, and safety-conscious work at height. You’ll perform tree maintenance around utility lines and assist with storm restoration as needed.

Applicants should be able to climb, handle knots and rigging, and operate bucket trucks safely. Benefits include health coverage and a 401(k); travel for storm work is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience operating an aerial lift trimmer.
• Driver's license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices on site.
• Prepare truck and materials daily under supervision of foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees/brush away from utility lines; remove branches.
• Clean up and dispose of debris from work area.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Demonstrate climbing/tree maintenance skills and seek improvement.
• Assist crew members in all daily activities as needed.
• Safeguard workers and the public from hazards; communicate with crew.
• Perform storm work duties as needed.
