ISA Certified Arborist in Springfield, MO seeks a dedicated tree-care professional for a full-time role. The position involves maintaining and trimming trees near utility lines, storm work when needed, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork within a daily crew environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and experience in vegetation management or related fields; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.
• Previous experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce them on site.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree debris.
• Clean up and dispose of all waste after daily tasks.
• Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used daily.
• Observe climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve professional abilities.
• Be ready to assist other crew members in all daily tasks.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards by enforcing safe job practices and keeping areas clean.

• Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $24 USD
  This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
