Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Springfield, MO is seeking a hands-on crew member to perform professional tree maintenance under supervision, clear branches from utility lines, assist with daily truck and material prep, and practice safe climbing and tool use.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred. This full-time role offers health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), and PTO. Background check and drug screen are required.

• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.

• Follow and enforce safe practices on site and help maintain a safe work area.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree material.
• Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used daily.

Job description

• Perform duties for storm work as needed.

Education And Experience
