Job summary

The Aerial Lift Trimmer position at Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services involves trimming, pruning, and removing trees with a bucket truck or similar equipment to support utility line clearance. A valid driver’s license is required and prior aerial lift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating an aerial lift trimmer.
• Driver's license required.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and enforce safety rules.
• Prepare truck and materials as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed.
• Clear and trim trees and brush near utility lines; remove branches.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment.
• Develop climbing and tree maintenance skills for improvement.
• Assist crew members in daily activities.
• Protect workers and public from hazards; communicate with crew.
• Contribute to storm work as needed.
