Job summary

The Aerial Lift Trimmer position with Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services involves trimming, pruning, and removing trees using a bucket truck or similar gear. Prior aerial lift experience with a tree care company is required, and a valid driver’s license is necessary.

This full-time role requires strict safety adherence, the ability to work at heights, and willingness to travel for storm restoration.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal.
• Must identify tree species.
• Must be familiar with electrical hazards and procedures near conductors and aerial techniques.
• Must work at heights under varying weather conditions.
• Must wear required PPE.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid/CPR certification.
• Must be able to travel for storm restoration work.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Prepare truck and materials as directed.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees/brush away from utility lines.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Maintain tools and equipment used daily.
