Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a field crew member to perform professional tree maintenance, clear and trim vegetation around utility lines, and assist the Foreperson with daily prep, tool tracking, and safety enforcement.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), ability to pass background checks and drug screens, and willingness to travel. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, and PTO; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.
• Position requires passing a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Climb and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree.
• Operate aerial lift and assist in preparing truck and materials for the day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by Foreperson.
• Safeguard employees and the public by enforcing safe job practices and keeping the work area clean.
• Be ready to assist other crew members in daily tasks, including storm work as needed.
