Job summary

You will diagnose mechanical issues in shop and on site, document work using tablets, and support loading, delivery, and pickup while upholding Sunstate's safety standards. Requires 1-3 years hands-on experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with construction or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing on equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, 90-day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment in shop and field.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools.
• Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs using web-based systems and tablets.
• Maintain safety decals and a clean, organized work area; assist with loading, delivery, and pickup as needed.

Hiring Immediately

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, overtime based on business need.
Pay Expectation: $28-35 Hourly Rate of Pay based on Experience. Paid weekly!

What you will do

• Perform routine, 90-day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms (including boom lifts and scissor lifts) to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment both in the shop and in the field
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools (including torque wrenches)
• Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately using web-based systems and electronic tablets\
• Maintain equipment safety decals, service readiness, and a clean, organized work area; assist with equipment loading, delivery, and pickup as needed
