Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring for Peoria, AZ to perform inspections and repairs on aerial work platforms such as boom and scissor lifts.

The role includes diagnosing mechanical issues in shop and field settings and documenting maintenance with digital tools. Applicants should have 1–3 years of hands-on mechanic/technician experience, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license with DOT need.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with construction or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing on equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; minimum age of 21 and ability to maintain a DOT medical card.
• Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills for customer and team interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, 90‑day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools (including torque wrenches).
• Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately using web‑based systems and electronic tablets.
• Maintain equipment safety decals, service readiness, and a clean, organized work area; assist with equipment loading, delivery, and pickup as needed.

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, overtime based on business need.

Pay Expectation

$28-35 Hourly Rate of Pay based on Experience. Paid weekly!

What You Will Do
