Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. seeks a skilled technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop environment.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and power-train faults using electronic tools and schematics, and communicate clearly with clients and management about conditions and recommendations. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a current driver's license, and at least 6 months of related experience, plus ability to operate

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.

• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed.
• Own and maintain required personal tools.
• Learn and use Empire, Caterpillar and allied product procedures and systems.
