Cashman Equipment Co. seeks a field technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop or customer site environment.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management. The role requires basic computer skills, knowledge of diagnostic tools, and the ability to convey repair strategies clearly.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with clients, associates and management.
• Basic computer use and diagnostics tool familiarity.
• Knowledge of CAT machine components and systems.
• Must meet attendance and safety requirements.
• English communication (speaking, reading, writing) is required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and document scope of work.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed.
