What you'll do
- Perform and direct crew members in duties as required within the scope of work
- Assemble antenna and line materials
- Use tools and rigging hardware for installation tasks
- Climb poles and towers for installation of antenna and line systems
- Attach connectors, seal coax joints
- Mount antenna support systems
- Perform routine tasks such as setting ice bridge posts, concrete placement, and site cleanup
- Operate winch or cat head
- Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies
- Clean tools and work areas
- Read and understand owner manuals
- Maintain safe working habits according to regulations and policies
Who we are looking for
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance
- Knowledge of installation/testing of LTE, CDMA, UMTS technologies; certifications like Anritzu/PIMM are a plus
- Ability to operate utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely
- Ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and work safely
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
- Availability to work overtime, after hours, weekends, and in all weather conditions
