Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant construction experience.
• Previous construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck and other equipment for aerial fiber construction.
• Set up job site including strand trailer, fiber trailer, and caddies.
• Maintain safe clearances near utilities, roads, and nonpedestrian areas.
• Frame poles according to industry specifications.
• lash/over-lash fiber cable bundles.
• Read and interpret network prints.
• Climb poles using gaffs or ladders.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements for safe, efficient work.
• Communicate with the crew leader and by phone as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
