Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck and other equipment related to aerial fiber construction.
• Set up job site including strand trailer and fiber trailer.
• Maintain clearances from utilities, ground, road, and pedestrian areas.
• Frame poles per industry specifications and lash fiber cables.
• Read and interpret network prints and safety procedures.
• Climb poles safely using gaffs or ladders.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements to complete work safely.
• Communicate by phone with crew leader throughout the day.
