Job summary

TAK Broadband, LLC in Fairfield, CA, is seeking an Aerial Lineman to work on fiber optic and coaxial placement, supporting aerial plant, pole transfers, delash/relash, and relocations. You will report to the Aurora office and travel as needed, reading construction drawings and following OSHA and NESC safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service while completing installations and potential crew supervision.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in aerial fiber optic installation or telecom construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and NESC guidelines.
Willingness to travel up to 50% and work evenings/weekends as needed.
Valid government-issued photo ID; Class A CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete installation of products and services, including aerial fiber and coaxial cable.
May supervise crew(s) in daily work and coordinate tasks.
Set up safety perimeter and ensure DOT compliance where required.
Travel to client sites and support various project locations, indoors and outdoors.
Repair, relocate, and install poles, lines, open wires, and drops as needed.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure high-quality customer experience.
