Job summary

Haulotte US, Inc. in Virginia Beach seeks a skilled Workshop Technician to prepare new and used machines, diagnose faults, and perform testing and maintenance in a fast-paced workshop.

You will work with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, load and unload machines safely, and keep the work area clean and compliant with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Collaborate with a supportive team and provide progress updates to supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of aerial lifting equipment or similar heavy equipment/machinery.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with job-specific tools and equipment, including torque tightening tools, diagnostic consoles, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and repair techniques.
• Understanding of Haulotte product assembly techniques, process flow requirements, and associated constraints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines received from the factory, including PDI and SMI units.
• Load and unload machines onto and off trucks safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose equipment faults, including hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and other system issues.
• Perform required repairs and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct equipment preparation, testing, and routine maintenance activities.
• Provide regular and effective updates to your supervisor regarding work progress and equipment status.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
