Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join its Life Line program, delivering advanced EMS care during critical transport missions alongside a flight nurse. The role requires strong judgment, physical fitness, and the ability to manage life-threatening situations in varied environments.

Responsibilities include on-scene assessment, rapid intervention, and adherence to Mercy Life Line Protocols, policies, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current paramedic license in MO or AR
• CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS/ITLS (or PHTLS) certifications
• NRP and Hazmat within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide care during each mission as part of the flight team.
• Assess and interpret patient status across all age groups.
• Improve safety and care in life-threatening situations.
• Meet Mercy policies, procedures, and Life Line Protocols.
