Job summary

Buckley Cable Construction is seeking motivated Aerial Construction Crew Members to support telecommunications projects in the West Palm Beach area. Background in fiber optic, coaxial, or Outside Plant (OSP) construction is preferred.

Location: West Palm Beach, FL. You will install, maintain, and repair aerial infrastructure, operate bucket trucks, and work from elevations while following safety policies. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications, aerial utility, or Outside Plant (OSP) construction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting equipment and materials.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic and coaxial cable.
• Install strand, anchors, hardware, and related aerial equipment.
• Perform cable placement, lashing, transfers, and maintenance activities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Work from bucket trucks, ladders, and elevated positions as required.
• Read and follow construction prints, work orders, and customer specifications.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work efficiently with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Follow all company safety policies and customer requirements.
