Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an AEO Specialist to own search for a B2B book of clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story. You are the strategic voice at the table and you make the calls.

As AEO Specialist you will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy and AI-enabled content, collaborating with writers and tools to deliver robust search programs across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
