Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, is seeking an AEO Specialist to own search for a B2B client roster: shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You’ll lead the technical SEO, keyword strategy, and on-page optimization with writers and AI, improving AI search alongside traditional rankings. You will collaborate with a multi-client team and report in GA4/Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience with audits and fixes
• Agency experience across several clients simultaneously
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls
• Proficient with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
