Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AEO Specialist (Answer Engine Optimization) to own search for a roster of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will steer the technical roadmap, prioritize content with writers and AI, and drive visibility in both AI-driven and classic organic search.

You are the strategic voice at the table, overseeing crawl, indexation, schema, and site speed, while coordinating across local SEO and multi-location needs. Strong English on live calls is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO roadmap: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Get clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting, and quarterly client roadmaps.
