Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO and AEO Strategist to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You define the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story when clients ask what moved. You are the strategic voice, making the calls.

You will own technical SEO, keyword strategy, AI-enabled search growth, local and multi-location SEO as needed, and quarterly client roadmaps, reporting in GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Develop keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI producing drafts.
• Drive visibility in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity alongside organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed for clients.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console, and deliver quarterly roadmaps for each client.
