Job summary

AARP, the nation's largest nonprofit, seeks an Engineer II in Washington, DC to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms and applications. You will establish technical roadmaps, ensuring sound data, integration, and security architectures, and deliver rapid solutions aligned with business outcomes.

You will lead AEM-centric digital marketing solutions, mentor development teams, and enforce best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, AEM, Java, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and web performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance platforms and applications.
• Lead end-to-end AEM-based web solutions including templates, components, and workflows.
• Architect integrations using REST/SOAP and with Salesforce or other enterprise systems.
• Drive CI/CD practices and partner with stakeholders to align roadmaps with business goals.
