Job summary

AARP is seeking an Engineer II in Washington, DC to design scalable, secure platforms and high‑performance applications. You’ll establish technical roadmaps, ensure sound data and security architectures, and deliver rapid solutions aligned with business outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust specifications, lead AEM-centric digital marketing efforts, and guide end-to-end AEM 6.5 web solutions with integrations to back-end systems. May telecommute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a software developer-related occupation or similar role.
• Proven experience with AEM, Java, and web technologies as listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities
