Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam, part of Global Medical Response, seeks a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot for full-time service. You will work with medical experts to transport patients, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory records while coordinating with dispatch and flight crews.

A rotorcraft commercial certificate and instrument rating are required, with substantial flight hours and a valid Class II medical.

Qualifications

• Requires Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Total Flight Hours: 2,000; Helicopter: 1,500; PIC: 1,000; Night: 100 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We're hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam's customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)
