Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Kentucky is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. This full-time role features a total potential of $225,000 and a focus on mission-critical care.

You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely, ensure aircraft readiness, maintain regulatory paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch and flight crews. A FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, medical certificate, and extensive helicopter time are required.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 total flight hours required.
• 1,500 helicopter hours required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours required.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours required.
• 100 helicopter night flight hours required (aided or unaided).
• 230 lb weight limit including flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and perform aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the successor pilot and team per recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
