Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

We offer a compelling pilot life with incentives including up to $225,000 total potential, up to half the year at home, and on duty housing, supported by Global Medical Response.

You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely, maintain aircraft readiness, and uphold regulatory documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• Total flight hours and helicopter-specific hours meet stated minimums.
• PIC hours and turbine hours are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
