Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in the United States seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services within HAA/HEMS programs. This full-time role requires maintaining flight readiness, coordinating with dispatch, and ensuring safe patient moves.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate and instrument rating.
• Total flight hours: 2,000 with 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC hours.
• Night flight hours: 100; weight limit 230 lb including gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and company requirements; keep aircraft clean.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)
