Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Safety is a core pillar, and the role demands readiness and precision across all operations.

Qualified candidates hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and about 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours and meaningful night-time experience. A $15K sign-on bonus and retention incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Significant flight hour requirements for rotorcraft.
• Weight and night-flying requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities with a medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals, FARs, and Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successor per change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary range $104,422 - $114,865 including 20% Geo Modifier
• $15K Sign on Bonus
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
