Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam, part of Global Medical Response, seeks a Helicopter Pilot to perform medical air transportation with a 7/7 schedule. The position includes a $106,511–$117,162 salary with a 20% geo modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and $40K retention bonuses after three years.

On‑duty housing is provided, and core responsibilities include flight readiness and patient transport. The role requires current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and medical certification, plus

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities


• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties


• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping


• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners


• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails


• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
